We help old tyres get back on the road in people's feet.
O.T.A. is a sustainable and responsible unisex sneaker brand: the sole is unique because it is made from recycled tyres that have already travelled the globe. Each sole is cut directly from the used tyre; this first life on asphalt makes each sneaker unique.
Every time O.T.A produces 3 pairs of sneakers, the equivalent of 1 tyre is recycled.
The production is done by hand in a workshop in Portugal, following high quality standards, using cowhide leather from Italy.
O.T.A. sneakers are both eco-responsible and have a timeless vision of fashion. For this reason, we create minimalist and timeless designs that will dress both men and women.
The brand On The Asphalt was also born while travelling the globe in search of new experiences, encounters and adventures. Each model bears the name and GPS coordinates of an unusual and little-known place. Near or far, either way it's a call to road-trip and adventure, and a link between the tyre's past and its new life at people's feet.
O.T.A. helps old tyres to get back on the road and to travel a few more kilometres on the asphalt.
